Make the range easier to understand.

A workwear catalogue has to do more than display products. Buyers need to move between ranges, compare specifications and understand how a product fits the job. Across 200 pages, a weak hierarchy would make that work harder.

The challenge was to hold detailed product information and the wider Xpert brand together in a guide that could support both discovery and practical buying conversations.

Give every page a clear job.

Use a repeatable editorial system, then let the product and field photography do different jobs. Directories provide a route into the range. Technical pages explain the product. Companion photography shows the clothing and footwear in context.

A system that holds across 200 pages.

The guide is organised through product directories and range sections, with consistent naming, codes, colours, sizes and specifications. Annotated product images make construction details visible; image-led companion pages give those details a real-world setting.

The same structure extends across safety and non-safety footwear, workwear, wetgear, dairywear, junior products and accessories. Brand colour and range signposting keep the individual sections connected.

What went into it.

  1. 01

    A system for 200 pages

Built a repeatable hierarchy for range introductions, navigation, product information and supporting photography.

  2. 02

    Technical clarity

Organised names, product codes, size and colour information, materials, specifications and feature callouts into comparable layouts.

  3. 03

    Product and context

Paired isolated product detail with photography that shows the range being worn and used.

  4. 04

    Range navigation
